The Site Engineer (Civil) serves as the primary technical authority for all structural and civil engineering aspects on site. This role demands hands-on involvement in daily construction activities, rigorous quality assurance, and effective coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Job Description
- Oversee daily site activities including excavation, piling, foundation, and structural frame erection
- Conduct quality control inspections and maintain comprehensive QA documentation
- Coordinate closely with main contractor, structural consultant, and specialist subcontractors
- Maintain detailed progress logs, daily reports, and photographic records
- Review and validate shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements
- Monitor compliance with structural specifications and safety standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 35 years practical experience in structural inspection and site supervision
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural drawing interpretation
- Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting capabilities
- Strong understanding of Indonesian construction standards and regulations
