Job Summary:
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
Coordinates site capital expenditure activities from planning and justification through approval, implementation tracking, financial reporting, and closure. Serves as the focal point among Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, Finance, and corporate CapEx stakeholders to ensure investments are properly supported, controlled, and compliant with organization requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate annual and quarterly site CapEx requirements and maintain the investment roadmap and project pipeline.
- Coordinate project business cases, ROI and payback analyses, budget forecasts, quotations, and supporting documents.
- Manage PMK, PRJ, ePRJ, CPX, and eCPX submissions; track approvals and follow up on pending actions.
- Ensure requests comply with the applicable CapEx policy, approval matrix, financial controls, and documentation requirements.
- Monitor project schedules, approved budgets, actual spending, commitments, delivery, installation, qualification, and closure.
- Coordinate equipment, automation, facility, utility, infrastructure, and leasehold-improvement investment activities.
- Partner with Finance on forecast-versus-actual analysis, depreciation, capitalization, P&L impact, and variance actions.
- Partner with Procurement and project owners on sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.
- Support idle-asset searches, inter-site transfers, asset utilization, and avoidance of unnecessary new purchases.
- Maintain CapEx dashboards and audit-ready records; provide timely status, risk, spending, and utilization reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years in manufacturing, facilities, industrial engineering, project coordination, or capital planning.
- Capital planning, forecasting, ROI analysis, project management, cost tracking, advanced Excel/Power BI, ERP/eBPM systems, and reporting
- Financial acumen, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, communication, planning, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
