Shopify Backend Developer
Role Description:
We are looking for a mid-entry Backend Developer to join an expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with other developers to deliver exceptional e-commerce web experiences and lasting business value for clients. You will play a critical role in understanding technical requirements and executing them effectively.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in e-commerce web development, preferably within an e-commerce ecosystem such as Shopify.
- Proficiency in PHP, SQL, REST API, GraphQL, with a minimum of 5 years of back-end development experience.
- Experience in integrating with 3rd-party platforms via API.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies tailored to e-commerce projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting complex technical challenges within e-commerce development.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude, adaptability to evolving project requirements, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality e-commerce solutions on time.
Nice to Have:
- Deep understanding of e-commerce requirements and functionalities.
- Experience with React.js.
- Experience managing or developing Shopify stores.
