Role Description The Shop Assistant at Noema Resort Pererenan is a contract, on-site role based in Pererenan, supporting the resort's retail operations and guest experience. In this role, the Shop Assistant welcomes guests, provides product information, and assists customers with selecting and purchasing items. Daily tasks include maintaining store cleanliness and displays, managing stock levels, handling point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring accurate pricing and labeling. The Shop Assistant also supports inventory counts, restocking, and coordination with resort staff to align shop offerings with guest needs and events. Consistent, professional service and clear communication are essential to creating a positive, seamless shopping experience for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills, including professional communication, active listening, and a helpful approach to guest interactions.
• Basic sales and retail skills, such as product presentation, upselling, and handling point-of-sale systems and cash transactions.
• Organizational skills for managing inventory, restocking products, and maintaining a tidy, visually appealing store environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Denpasar, including standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks such as lifting and arranging merchandise.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a guest-facing role is preferred, along with basic English communication skills and familiarity with local culture.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
