Shipping Officer (Mandarin Speaker)

Role Description

The Shipping Officer (Mandarin Speaker) at Mineral Alam Abadi Group is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is responsible for coordinating import and export shipping activities, including preparing and reviewing shipping documents, tracking shipments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures. The Shipping Officer maintains regular communication with local and overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Daily responsibilities include managing booking schedules, monitoring cargo status, resolving shipment issues, and updating internal systems and reports. The role also involves using Mandarin in written and verbal communication with Mandarin-speaking partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly in English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Mandarin.
• Knowledge and experience in import, export, and import export operations, including documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of freight processes, coordination with freight forwarders, and shipment tracking.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and shipping-related systems or software.
• Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
