We are hiring a Senior Broker – Tanker (Gas, Oil & Chemical) to manage tanker chartering activities, negotiate cargo fixtures, build strong relationships with shipowners and charterers, and drive commercial growth across the gas, oil, and chemical tanker market.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate cargo and vessel fixtures for Tankers (Gas, Oil & Chemical).
- Liaise with shipowners, charterers, brokers, and operators to secure and execute fixtures.
- Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms while maximizing business opportunities.
- Monitor tanker freight market trends, vessel positions, and chartering opportunities.
- Prepare fixture recaps, voyage estimates, and commercial reports.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth post-fixture execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the chartering portfolio.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication throughout the fixture lifecycle.
Looking For
- 3 years of experience as a Chartering Broker or in Tanker (Gas, Oil & Chemical) chartering.
- Proven experience handling gas, oil, and chemical tanker fixtures.
- Strong understanding of tanker freight markets, charter party terms, and commercial shipping operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Existing network of shipowners, charterers, and brokers is highly preferred.
