Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery solutions.
Configure and manage Discovery, MID Servers, probes, sensors, and patterns.
Improve CMDB data quality, governance, reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
Enable Service Mapping and support ITOM initiatives.
Develop and customize ServiceNow solutions using:
Business Rules
Client Scripts
Script Includes
UI Policies & UI Actions
Flow Designer
Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and third-party tools.
Troubleshoot Discovery issues and ensure accurate configuration item (CI) population.
Create reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
Support platform upgrades, testing, and production deployments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Required Skills

5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Strong expertise in:
CMDB
Discovery
MID Server Administration
Service Mapping
ITOM
Experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub.
Understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.
Experience working with enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud asset discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of software asset lifecycle and license management.
Experience with Service Transformation or digital transformation projects.
Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.

Preferred Certifications

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
CIS – Discovery / ITOM
CIS – ITSM
ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
