Service Delivery Manager – Data Centre (Colocation & Connectivity)
Location: Batam, Indonesia (on-site)
We're partnering with a fast-growing data centre operator expanding its campus in Southeast Asia. They're looking for a Service Delivery Manager to own end-to-end delivery of colocation and connectivity solutions—from contract signature through to customer handover and post-RFS support.
This is a customer-facing, technically grounded role ideal for someone with strong data centre fit-out/project delivery experience who enjoys working across operations, engineering, and client teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery of data hall and MMR projects from contract signature to RFS and customer acceptance.
- Act as the main point of contact for new customers during onboarding and delivery.
- Plan and allocate data hall space, racks, cages, and suites based on customer needs.
- Manage power and liquid-cooling provisioning down to rack level.
- Coordinate fit-out works: containments, BMS, fire suppression, structured cabling, security access, and related systems.
- Work closely with DC Operations, Network/Connectivity, Security, Project teams, and external vendors/contractors.
- Support customer expansions (additional racks, cages, suites, MMR, data hall).
- Keep accurate records of MMR utilization, patch panels, and cabling inventory.
- Ensure smooth handover of accounts from delivery to operations once services are live.
- Manage escalations related to delivery delays or technical issues.
- Support SLA discussions with customers and internal teams (Legal, Ops, Projects).
- Lead quality inspections, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and installation sign-offs.
- Run lessons-learned sessions to improve delivery processes.
- Align delivery with customer design standards, security requirements, and SLAs.
- Prepare data hall turnover documentation (as-builts, OMM, warranties, training).
- Coordinate with end-user technical teams and provide progress reporting.
- Support change management and troubleshooting during operations as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in data centre server delivery, fit-out, or related project delivery roles.
- Solid technical knowledge across data centre electrical, mechanical, HVAC, liquid cooling, and connectivity systems.
- Proven project management and multi-stakeholder coordination skills.
- Strong communication and customer management abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and coordinating across internal and external teams.
- Effective in negotiation, escalation handling, and managing timeline slippages or changing requirements.
- Highly flexible, forward-thinking, and motivated by a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
