Role Description The Server role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ubud, Bali, open to candidates domiciled in Bali only. The Server will welcome guests, present menus, explain set courses, and coordinate food and beverage service in alignment with fine dining standards. Day-to-day tasks include taking and confirming reservations, managing seating, relaying orders accurately to the kitchen and bar, and ensuring timely, polished service throughout the dining and theatrical experience. The Server will handle guest inquiries, respond to special requests or dietary needs, maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, and support the team with opening and closing duties. This role requires close collaboration with the culinary and performance teams to deliver a seamless, memorable guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality, guest satisfaction, and professional demeanor.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service, including table service, course timing, and knowledge of food and beverage standards.
- Effective communication skills in English; additional languages and clear, courteous interpersonal skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ubud, with flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
- Team-oriented mindset, willingness to learn, and openness to training in menu knowledge, wine, and beverage service.
- Previous experience in Bali's hospitality industry is preferred; familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
