Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Descriptions:

  • Plan and execute sensory tests for new and existing products.
  • Prepare samples and ensure proper testing conditions in accordance with sensory evaluation standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage internal or external panelists for sensory evaluation.
  • Analyze sensory data using appropriate statistical methods and interpret results into actionable insights.
  • Monitor product consistency and support quality control through sensory validation.
  • Document test results and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sensory evaluation or product development within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of sensory science methodologies and test design.
  • Good with statistical analysis tools/software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, XLSTAT, Minitab).
  • Knowledge of food quality standards and basic food processing is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage sensory panels and work collaboratively across functions.
  • Willing to work in laboratory and production settings.
