Role Overview

This is not just about editing. We want someone who lives and breathes cinematic storytelling with a sharp eye for framing, lighting, rhythm, and emotion. As our Senior Video Editor, you will craft videos that don't just deliver messages, but leave a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative process from raw footage to final cinematic output.
  • Edit high-quality video content for campaigns, commercials, and branded storytelling.
  • Apply advanced cinematography knowledge to ensure visuals are emotionally engaging.
  • Work closely with the creative & production team to shape mood, tone, and narrative flow.
  • Enhance footage through expert use of color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
  • Maintain BookCabin's creative direction and push boundaries of visual storytelling.
  • Mentor junior editors and guide best practices in cinematic editing.
  • Qualifications

    • 5+ years of proven experience as a Video Editor with strong cinematography skills.
    • Portfolio/reel showcasing cinematic storytelling, advanced editing, and color grading.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve (for color), and other editing tools.
    • Strong understanding of visual composition, lighting, and camera movements.
    • Ability to create mood and emotional depth through editing rhythm.
    • Experience with motion graphics/animation is a plus.
    • Highly detail-oriented, creative, and able to work under deadlines.
