Senior Travel Consultant

About the Role

Smailing Tour is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Senior Travel Consultant to manage complex travel arrangements and deliver personalized travel solutions for corporate and individual clients.

The ideal candidate has strong travel industry knowledge, excellent client management skills, and the ability to handle high-value and time-sensitive travel requests with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end domestic and international travel arrangements, including complex itineraries.
• Develop customized FIT itineraries and provide expert travel recommendations.
• Handle ticketing, reissuance, revalidation, cancellation, and refund processes.
• Advise clients on destinations, airlines, hotels, cruises, visas, and travel requirements.
• Manage last-minute changes, travel disruptions, and client requests.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and travel partners.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth travel arrangements.
• Support junior consultants and share knowledge when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Advisor, or similar role.
• Experience handling corporate, premium, luxury, or high-value clients.
• Strong knowledge of international travel, FIT itineraries, and complex bookings.
• Proficient in GDS systems such as Galileo, Sabre, Abacus, or Althea.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and client management skills.
• Detail-oriented, independent, and able to work under pressure.
