Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex software development, IT infrastructure, cloud, integration, and technology transformation projects. The role will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end — from requirements and planning through design, development, infrastructure provisioning, testing, deployment, stabilization, and transition to operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both software engineering and IT infrastructure, enabling effective coordination between application development teams, infrastructure/cloud teams, security, architecture, vendors, business stakeholders, and IT operations. The candidate should be comfortable working in an environment involving Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies and should be capable of managing multiple technology workstreams simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Delivery
• Own end-to-end delivery of technology projects within agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk parameters.
• Develop project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Establish project governance, communication mechanisms, and reporting structures.
• Manage multiple projects/workstreams concurrently based on business priorities.
• Track project progress against key milestones and proactively address deviations.
• Identify critical path activities and manage cross-project dependencies.
• Ensure timely delivery of project outcomes and business objectives.
• Software Development Project Management
• Manage software development projects across the complete SDLC.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams.
• Drive requirements clarification, solution design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and production stabilization.
• Manage Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives where applicable.
• Track development velocity, sprint commitments, defects, technical debt, and release readiness.
• Ensure appropriate documentation of requirements, architecture, APIs, interfaces, and operational procedures.

• Manage application releases and production implementation activities.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Project Management
• Lead infrastructure projects involving:
• Data centres
• Servers and storage
• Network infrastructure
• Cloud migration
• AWS/Azure/GCP environments
• Virtualization
• Databases
• Backup and DR
• Monitoring and observability
• End-user computing
• Infrastructure modernization

• Coordinate infrastructure design, procurement, provisioning, configuration, testing, migration, and commissioning.
• Work closely with infrastructure, network, security, database, cloud, and operations teams.
• Manage infrastructure capacity, dependencies, environments, and readiness for application deployments.
• Coordinate cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure projects meet availability, scalability, security, performance, and resilience requirements.

• Integration & Technology Dependencies
• Manage projects involving integration between applications, platforms, databases, APIs, middleware, messaging systems, and external systems.
• Identify and manage technical dependencies across application and infrastructure teams.
• Coordinate technologies such as APIs, Kafka/event streaming, middleware, databases, identity platforms, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Ensure end-to-end technical readiness across all dependent systems before deployment.

• Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of coordination between business, technology, vendors, and senior management.
• Manage expectations of business and technology stakeholders.
• Conduct project steering committee and stakeholder review meetings.
• Provide concise and meaningful project status reports to senior management.
• Escalate issues requiring management intervention in a timely manner.
• Build strong working relationships across application, infrastructure, security, architecture, operations, and business teams.

• Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
• Establish and maintain project RAID logs.
• Proactively identify technical, operational, financial, resource, security, and delivery risks.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive issue resolution and escalation where required.
• Conduct impact analysis for major scope, technology, and schedule changes.
• Vendor & Partner Management
• Manage technology vendors, system integrators, consultants, and third-party service providers.
• Track vendor deliverables, milestones, SLAs, quality, and contractual commitments.
• Coordinate vendor resources with internal technology teams.
• Support vendor evaluation, RFP/RFQ activities, technical discussions, and solution assessments where required.

• Manage vendor-related risks and escalations.
• Financial & Resource Management
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and actual expenditure.
• Track CAPEX/OPEX implications of technology projects.
• Manage resource requirements across internal teams and vendors.
• Optimize resource utilization and identify capacity constraints.
• Support business cases and cost-benefit analysis for technology initiatives.
