Senior Tax & Accounting Associate

We're looking for a Senior Tax & Accounting Associate to strengthen our finance function as we continue to grow across multiple business lines. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, technically strong in accounting and Indonesian tax, and excited by the pace and complexity of a dynamic, multi-entity business environment.
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities within the group
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Ensure timely preparation of management reports and financial documentation
- Manage tax compliance across entities, including:
- PPh 21, 23, 25, 29
- VAT / PPN reporting
- Corporate income tax compliance
- Tax reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Coordinate tax filings and ensure compliance with Indonesian regulatory requirements
- Support audits (financial and tax), including document preparation and liaison with external auditors / consultants
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively flag implications for the business
- Support process improvements across finance, reporting, and compliance workflows
- Partner with internal stakeholders across business teams to ensure financial discipline and documentation hygiene
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting support, and special projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- 2-5+ years of experience in accounting / finance / tax
- Strong understanding of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience handling multi-entity accounting is a strong plus
- Background in accounting firms, tax advisory, FMCG, media, agency, or fast-moving consumer businesses is a plus
- Comfortable working with accounting systems / ERP tools
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills
- Detail-oriented, structured, and highly dependable
- Able to work independently while navigating ambiguity and a fast-moving environment
- Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with non-finance stakeholders
Bonus Points If You:
- Have Brevet A & B (C is a plus)
- Have experience supporting founder-led or high-growth businesses
- Enjoy building cleaner systems and processes, not just maintaining them
