Job Description

Design, implement, and manage complex IT infrastructure environments (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid).
Lead system architecture planning, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
Ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and security across all environments.
Manage and optimize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem infrastructure.
Oversee system monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues.
Define and enforce infrastructure standards, policies, and best practices.
Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies.
Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Network, and Application teams.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5–8+ years of experience in system engineering or infrastructure roles.
Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Experience managing Linux and/or Windows server environments.
Proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, etc.).
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, and hardening techniques.
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
