We are looking for a Senior Swimwear Merchandiser / Team Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for handling key clients while also leading and supervising the merchandising team to ensure smooth operations from development to delivery to reporting.
Client Handling:
- Manage and maintain relationships with key/important clients
- Handle end-to-end merchandising process for assigned accounts
- Ensure clear and timely communication with clients regarding orders and updates
- Monitor order progress and ensure on-time delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for client needs
- Proactively resolve issues related to assigned accounts
Team & Leadership:
- Supervise and guide the merchandising team in daily operations
- Review and consolidate team reports (production, timelines, performance)
- Ensure all team members follow company standards and procedures
- Support team in problem-solving and escalation handling
- Monitor overall team performance and ensure targets are achieved
- Improve workflow efficiency and team coordination
Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confident in handling international clients across email, messaging, meetings, and in-person interactions
- Strong technical understanding of swimwear construction, fit, grading, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to review tech packs, identify issues, and provide feedback on fit, construction, and design execution
- Experience with product development and sampling stages (proto, SMS, PPS)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and timelines
- Close attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
