Responsibilities

• This role will focus on improving system scalability, performance, resilience, and availability while establishing engineering standards and best practices across engineering.
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Possess 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating deep expertise within the Java ecosystem; proficiency in Golang is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in architecting, deploying, and maintaining high-throughput, mission-critical systems.
• Proven experience designing and operating high-volume, mission-critical systems.
• Exhibit comprehensive mastery of distributed systems design, horizontal scalability, performance tuning, advanced caching strategies, and high-concurrency architectures.
• Have extensive hands-on experience implementing high-availability (HA) architectures, robust disaster recovery (DR) protocols, and resilience engineering practices.
• Maintain working proficiency with modern cloud platforms, containerization technologies, enterprise observability stacks, and hybrid infrastructure topologies.
• Demonstrate strong technical leadership, talent mentorship, and executive stakeholder management capabilities.
• Prior domain expertise in banking, financial technology (Fintech), or hyper-scale digital platforms is strongly preferred.
