Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Develop hands-on solutions using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and related technologies.
• Support and improve system integrations with internal and third-party platforms (e.g., ERP, marketplaces, APIs).
• Design and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, ensuring adherence to testing best practices.
• Deploy and support applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), working with cloud-native services and Docker.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability.
• Participate in code reviews and help the team follow engineering best practices.
• Break down initiatives into smaller deliverables and contribute to quarterly planning.
• Build and extend Shopify apps, including custom features, integrations, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, DevOps, and developers to deliver impactful solutions.
• Contribute ideas to technical discussions and system improvements.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 35 years of professional experience as a software engineer / full stack developer.
• Python (min. 2 years) for backend development and scripting.
• JavaScript/TypeScript (min. 23 years) with experience in React and Node.js.
• Shopify App development (min. 12 years) using REST/GraphQL APIs, Polaris, Remix/Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server, min. 2 years) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Firestore, min. 12 years).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and containerization with Docker (min. 1 year).
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and Git-based collaboration (min. 2 years).
• Ability to debug, optimize for performance, and communicate clearly on technical topics.
