Senior Software Engineer

Location: Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta (Flexible Hybrid)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to architect, build, and scale our core products. In this role, you'll work directly with the CTO to shape our technology and mentor a talented engineering team, with a clear pathway to a VP of Engineering position.

• Architect & Build: Lead the end-to-end development of scalable, secure full-stack solutions using PHP (Laravel).
• Infrastructure Evolution: Drive critical projects including AWS migrations, database modernization, and the adoption of serverless, event-driven architectures.
• AI Integration & Efficiency: Champion the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate delivery and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into our product roadmap where relevant.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Drive high coding standards through code reviews and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Optimization: Enhance CI/CD pipelines and optimize application performance for high availability and scalability.

• Background: BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience (2+ years in a senior or lead role).
• Core Tech: Expert-level PHP (Laravel), SQL, and Redis.
• Testing Mastery: Deep experience with PHPUnit or similar frameworks. Strong belief in TDD and the ability to design testable code.
• Concurrency & Multithreading: Proven experience managing asynchronous tasks and parallel processing in PHP (e.g., using Swoole, RoadRunner, Fiber, or pcntl).
• Architecture: Deep expertise in microservices, monoliths, event-driven patterns, and message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• AI-Native Workflow: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to optimize coding, debugging, and documentation workflows.

• 2+ years of lead experience at a major tech company.
• Experience building systems with high security or regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, ReactJS, NextJS, or Flutter.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Huawei Cloud.
