Your role:
As a Senior Seed Sales Officer, you will be developed to drive our commercial success by building lasting relationships with key players in the plantation sector. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Identify and engage with new potential clients within our target market, booking meetings with key decision-makers.
- Deeply understand customer needs, based on your agriculture experience, and present tailored solutions from our elite seed portfolio that solve their most crucial challenges.
- Present our elite seed portfolio and tailored agronomic solutions, clearly articulating the value and ROI.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to securing commitment, handling any concerns to ensure a win-win outcome.
- Nurture and grow client relationships, ensuring an outstanding customer experience that leads to repeat business.
What you bring:
- Around 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within a related field, such as the agricultural, agronomy or plantation sectors (e.g., seeds, crop inputs, fertilisers, or plantation equipment).
- A willingness to learn new approaches to selling.
- A curious mindset with skills in building trusted relationships and asking insightful questions.
- The ability to communicate technical information effectively to different audiences.
- A resilient, results-driven attitude with a strong desire for continuous personal and professional growth.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
- A university degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Biotechnology, or a related business field.
- Knowledge of oil palm cultivation is highly preferred, and proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage but not a requirement.
