Role Description The Senior Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gresik, responsible for driving technical sales activities and building strong customer relationships. This role includes identifying customer needs, preparing technical proposals and quotations, and presenting engineering solutions that align with client requirements and project specifications. The Senior Sales Engineer collaborates closely with engineering and project teams to ensure feasibility, accurate cost estimates, and timely execution of proposals. Day-to-day tasks include responding to technical inquiries, providing pre- and post-sales support, conducting site visits, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and follow-up. The role also involves monitoring market trends, contributing to sales strategies, and preparing regular reports on opportunities, forecasts, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills, including solution selling, technical proposal development, and translating complex engineering concepts into clear value propositions.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting, application guidance, and coordination with engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear presentation abilities, and professional handling of customer requests and concerns.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including negotiation, pipeline management, account management, and achieving revenue and margin targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in industrial projects.
- Experience in EPC, industrial construction, or related sectors, preferably serving manufacturing, chemical, smelter, or energy industries.
- Ability to work on-site, perform regular client visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
