Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities across pre-production and bulk production for apparel categories
  • Act as the key interface between factories, vendors, regional teams (HK QC Hub, Merchandising, Compliance), and customers
  • Ensure customer quality standards are clearly communicated and implemented through field training, supervision, and on-site support
  • Monitor and drive vendor, QC and QA performance through KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement actions
  • Oversee factory audits, technical evaluations, and CAP (Corrective Action Plans) follow-up
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for bulk issues, customer DC/store rejects, and production risks
  • Build strong relationships and credibility with customers and key vendors to support business delivery
  • Partner with merchandising and sourcing teams to influence vendor selection and sourcing strategies from a quality perspective
  • Drive lean QC operations, including cost monitoring and team efficiency improvement
  • Review and enhance quality processes, manuals, and SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Analyze lab testing results, performance data, and quality reports to identify risks and improvement areas
  • Support regional and global quality initiatives and transformation projects

Job Requirements

  • Degree or above in Textiles, Fashion, or related disciplines
  • 10+ years of experience in apparel quality, with at least 8 years in a leadership role
  • Strong experience across woven and knit categories, with proven track record in production, QC, QA, and technical functions
  • Solid experience working with US/EU brands, retailers, or international sourcing offices
  • Deep understanding of apparel manufacturing processes and factory operations (cutting, sewing, finishing)
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern, fit, and technical standards
  • Familiar with factory compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements for US/EU markets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams across multiple factories and vendor bases in Southeast Asia
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in resolving bulk production and quality issues
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with both customers and factories
  • Self-driven, well-organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Willing to travel within the region as required
