As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll get to (main responsibilities)

You'll also get to:

  • Work as company's contact window regarding customer quality issue resolution and customer satisfaction improvement activities.
  • Lead customer quality complaint, handle and work with internal team & supplier quality team to identify root cause & corrective actions.
  • Customer specific requirement receiving and transfer to internal plant/ supplier team, lead Quality agreement review & sign with customer.
  • Regularly customer quality performance summary and report.
  • Lead customer PSA & Annual audit.
  • Participate in the development and launch process of new products by providing quality engineering expertise, prepare quality document as customer request (PPAP package) and Process Change Control.
  • Supplier or potential supplier onsite audit for quality system audit and process audit to evaluate whether the supplier meets the specified quality requirements.
  • Coordinate the submission of PPAP approval for new product and communicate with suppliers about the company's expectations for engineering samples and PPAP.
  • Review PPAP documents of suppliers, including characteristic list, drawing, process flow chart, PFMEA, control plan, MSA, SPC, material report and packing standard.
  • Communicate with supplier for nonconformity materials issues and follow up problem solving from supplier, conduct effectiveness validation until closure to prevent the occurrence.
  • Conduct monthly supplier performance evaluation and identify supplier improvement opportunities, train/development needs and other continuous improvement measures.
  • Able to handle Application Engineering aspects of Industrial and Automotive customers
  • Participate in tear down and come out with VA/ VE recommendations to customers.
  • Work with and support Sales team closely to win new business opportunities
  • Host Technical seminars for customers and attend trade shows to identify new opportunities
  • Closely collaborate with regional application engineering team
  • Other relevant tasks arranged by supervisors for achieving company's objectives.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Relevant 8 years of Quality function professional experiences in the project environment
  • Minimum 5 years in Industrial & Automotive manufacturing
  • Familiar with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
  • Familiar Plastic and Metal products (preference) and QMS/PPAP requirement.
  • Experience with manufacturing process: injection, cold forming, CQI-12 plating process, CQI-9 heat treatment process (preference)

Working knowledge of the following:

  • Familiar advanced quality management tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D, etc.
  • Excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Good project management, execution and cooperation capability, team spirit across functions
  • Good team-playing spirits, attention to details
  • Possess flexibility for local business travels.
