Role Description
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality through hands-on manual testing and test automation. You will own testing activities across the development lifecycle, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and help improve QA processes to support reliable and scalable product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute end-to-end testing activities, including manual testing and automated testing.
- Design, maintain, and improve automated test suites to support regression and release readiness.
- Identify, document, and track bugs clearly using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and performance testing as needed.
- Review product requirements, game mechanics and technical designs to identify risks, edge cases, and quality gaps early.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and high-quality software delivery.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous QA process improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 47 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance (open for strong candidates with 3+ years).
- Proven hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong experience with at least one test automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile environments.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling).
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in mobile testing (iOS/Android) or multi-platform products (web, API).
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Prior experience in fintech, payment gateway, financial services, or other high-reliability and high-transaction systems is a strong plus.
