Job Requirement / Qualifications:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Chemistry, Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of working experience in quality or testing industry would be preferred
- Knowledge of international regulations and testing standards on toys with experience in local certification program in APAC regions (e.g SNI) would be an advantage
- Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and respective auditor certifications/training would be an advantage
- Attention to details, independent with strong problem-solving skills
- Willing to have frequent local trips
- Good command of English
- Willing placement for our client (Hasbro)
Job Responsibilities:
- Line Manager – Director Quality Assurance (Based in HK)
- Maintain Hasbro requirements on quality system of material suppliers
- Be responsible for supporting Hasbro vendors and suppliers in their development for regulatory compliance and testing capabilities
- Coordinate between different internal and external parties in view of testing issues and technical alignment
- Manage material suppliers and monitor the suppliers following Hasbro quality requirements. Travel and participate in supplier assessments
- Provide training to Hasbro vendors and suppliers in understanding international standards and regulations on toys, as well as Hasbro requirements
- Offer support to Hasbro vendors on developing the testing capabilities of their internal labs according to Hasbro specifications
- Collaborate among internal teams, vendors, suppliers and laboratories regarding testing issues and support ad-hoc investigations for test results or failures
