  • Work as part of Agile Scrum teams to design, execute, and validate instrument control software, service software, Local Run Manager, and its modules for DNA sequencing and genotyping devices.
  • Develop, review, and execute detailed manual test cases to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing through structured manual testing processes.
  • Investigate and analyze software defects, working closely with developers to reproduce issues and support resolution.
  • Define, develop, and document test strategies, test plans, and test cases to uncover defects and improve product reliability.
  • Plan and build effective test environments with relevant test data to support thorough validation.
  • Document, track, and report issues found during the testing process, ensuring clear communication of risks and impacts.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals.
  • Contribute to shared learning, process improvements, and mentoring within the QA team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on manual testing.
  • Previous experience in testing medical instruments, image processing software, or other complex systems is a plus.
  • Experience testing Windows-based and/or Linux-based GUI systems.
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies, including exploratory, functional, regression, system, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Experience with test/defect management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for tracking builds and test results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general documentation practices for test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management concepts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within Agile teams, support quality assurance activities, and ensure high product reliability.
