Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join our QA Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable UI automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Develop end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional automation test suites.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test execution results and prepare test reports.
• Ensure automation coverage and improve test execution efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of overall QA Automation experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright (Mandatory).
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript (Mandatory).
• Strong experience in UI automation testing.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have

• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• API Automation (Postman/Playwright API).
• Cross-browser testing.
• Performance and test reporting tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms.
