Job Description
To support our ongoing projects, we are urgently looking for Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the major mining projects in Indonesia
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Collaborate with the General Management to achieve general and profit objectives.
- Organize the different phases of the project by defining for each of them the technical and economic objectives to be achieved, in collaboration with the PD (technical aspects) and the GM/OM (management aspects).
- Take care of communication with the Client throughout the work phase.
- Follow IMS procedures for the management of orders.
- Define with the PD the objectives of the project (times, costs, methods and contents of the service), responding to the orders/contracts received from the Client.
- Ensure that requests for modification or integration of the scope of work are subject to negotiation with the Client and contractual integration.
- Manage the resources assigned to the project phases, according to the professionalism required, ensuring their involvement by sharing objectives and keeping internal resources motivated, also resolving any problems and conflicts.
- Monitor the performance of resources and return timely and periodic feedback to the OM/GL.
- Manage any supplies required for the project in accordance with company procedures.
- Plan, manage and control the environmental and safety aspects in the various phases of the project, their implementation during the execution phase, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
- Monitor the progress of the project in terms of budget analysis and cost forecasting.
- Identify the risk areas of the projects, defining the organizational solutions for their monitoring and management.
- Inform, where possible in advance, the Management of any event during the course of the project that may result in damage or a claim for compensation by the Client or third parties involved in the project.
- Promote actions for the development of new business opportunities for the Client, in collaboration with the PD and BD;
- Adhere to IMS procedures, the Code of Ethics, contractual conditions, company policies and aspects related to health and safety of the environment, in accordance with current regulations especially in Indonesia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical/Civil/ Geological/Environmental/Hydrology.
Experience, skills, and knowledge:
- Minimum 7 years experience in similar role.
- PMP Certification
- Experience in Project management software, MS Project or Primavera.
- Has experience working with ERP.
