What will you do
- Define Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for ERP solutions tailored to the needs of Sales, Service, and Finance, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and customer needs.
- Elicit and Understand Requirements: Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, focusing on identifying true needs versus expressed wants to create impactful solutions.
- Translate Requirements to Engineering: Convert user and stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable tasks for the engineering team, ensuring alignment and understanding across all parties.
- Prioritize Features and Roadmaps: Evaluate and prioritize product features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility to create and maintain a strategic product roadmap.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality ERP solutions, providing clear direction and resolving roadblocks.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze product performance and user feedback, using insights to refine and enhance ERP solutions over time.
- Market and Industry Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and industry best practices to guide product innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Facilitate Change Management: Support teams in adopting new ERP features and improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and maximizing the impact of updates.
- Measure Success: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and guide future development efforts.
- Champion Customer Needs: Act as the voice of the customer (Internal Sales, Service, and Finance Team), ensuring ERP solutions consistently solve real problems and deliver measurable value.
Qualifications:
- Experience in ERP Product Management: At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role working on ERP systems, with a strong understanding of Sales, Service, and Finance workflows.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to gather and interpret user requirements, identify true needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with ERP systems architecture, integrations, and workflows. Experience working with engineering teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Excellent skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, and business stakeholders, to drive product success.
- Strategic Thinking: Experience in defining product vision and strategy, prioritizing features, and maintaining a product roadmap that aligns with business goals.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to focus on user needs and deliver solutions that provide measurable value.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and ensuring product quality.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, presenting ideas, and creating clear documentation for technical teams.
Nice to Have:
- Background in Odoo ERP: Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, including configuring, implementing, or managing modules related to Sales, Service, and Finance, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Industry Trends: Understanding of market trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscapes in ERP and related domains.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Bonus Qualifications: Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Knowledge of financial, sales, or service-specific workflows is a plus.
