About The Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to join our team in Jakarta and lead the development of innovative, customer-centric products. In this role, you will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Commercial teams to deliver products that create measurable business and customer impact.
You will be a key decision-maker, setting priorities in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity with confidence. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to shape the future of our product portfolio in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Identify unmet customer needs through primary research, data analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform product direction.
- Roadmap Planning & Execution
- Translate strategy into a clearly prioritized backlog; define OKRs, KPIs, and success metrics for each initiative.
- Drive execution across the full product lifecycle — from discovery and ideation through development, launch, and iteration.
- Make data-driven trade-off decisions on scope, timeline, and resources while managing stakeholder expectations.
- Cross-functional Leadership
- Act as the connective tissue across Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align on priorities and resolve impediments.
- Lead agile ceremonies; write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Customer & Market Insight
- Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and market research to develop deep empathy for target users and personas.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging trends in the Indonesian and broader Southeast Asian market.
- Data & Metrics
- Define, track, and analyze product metrics (activation, retention, NPS, revenue) to assess performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Build a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration.
- Stakeholder Management
- Present product strategy, roadmap, and results to senior leadership and executive stakeholders with clarity and conviction.
- Collaborate with commercial teams on go-to-market strategies, pricing, and business case development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 8-10+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or lead PM capacity.
- Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree; MBA is a plus.
- AI Product Experience: Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, build, and ship AI-powered products — including working knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, ML-driven features, or intelligent automation.
- Demonstrated track record of owning and shipping impactful B2B or B2C products at scale.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in data analysis and product analytics frameworks.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum environment with a deep understanding of agile principles and ceremonies.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and build consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior PMs or cross-functional contributors.
- Deep familiarity with the Indonesian digital market, consumer behaviour, and regulatory environment.
- Experience with growth loops, monetization strategies, or platform product thinking is highly valued.
Nice to Have
- Experience in product-led growth (PLG) organizations.
- Exposure to API-first or developer-facing products.
- Familiarity with UX design principles and working closely with design systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
Preferred — Business Messaging & Telco Experience
Candidates with prior experience in the following areas will be given strong preference during the selection process:
- Business Messaging Platforms: Hands-on PM experience with platforms such as WhatsApp Business API, RCS, SMS/OTP infrastructure, in-app messaging SDKs, or omnichannel customer engagement tools.
- Telecommunications Industry: Prior product experience within a telco operator, MVNO, CPaaS provider, or ecosystem partner — with familiarity in A2P messaging, SIM-based authentication, voice/data bundling, or network APIs.
- Developer & API Ecosystems: Experience managing products consumed by enterprise developers or system integrators in a messaging or communication context.
- Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of BRTI regulations, OJK digital communication guidelines, or international messaging compliance frameworks (e.g., GSMA, CTIA).
