Senior Product Engineer (Backend)

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build new features and improve existing ones.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from architecture and testing to deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure the platform meets high standards of performance, scalability, and security.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend development, delivering scalable applications.
• Proven ability to design and implement technical architectures for complex systems.
• Strong track record of working cross-functionally to build and enhance features.
• Deep experience with debugging, performance optimization, and security best practices in production environments.
• Ability and enthusiasm to mentor teammates and help grow engineering excellence.
• Ability to use Go Programming Language
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with Redis for caching and data management
• Experience with message queues such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and gRPC
