Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Evaluate and streamline existing operational workflows to enhance performance.

Identify gaps in processes and systems and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Implement best practices, SOPs, and quality standards across departments.

Facilitate communication and alignment between departments.

Identify potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure timely submission of all sales and operational reports to management.

Coordinate effectively with internal departments, external vendors, and manufacturers to achieve business objectives.

Handle ad hoc assignments and special tasks as directed by higher management.

Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue and gross profit targets.

Meet or exceed gross profit targets set by management.

Evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to guide strategic decision making.

Prepare accurate sales projections and forecasts to support strategic planning.

Maintain and update sales dashboards, reports, and forecasting documents.

Fully understand company profile and range of products and present them professionally to all clients.

Drive strategic business development initiatives, including identifying major opportunities and closing complex commercial deals.

Grow sales revenue and earnings per client through continuous business development.

Build, grow, and maintain successful long-term relationships with strategic clients and business partners.

Identify customer needs, provide timely responses to inquiries, and maintain a strong customer satisfaction culture.

Lead tender preparation including commercial assessments, technical requirement reviews, customer specification analysis, vendor selection, costing estimates, and commercial negotiations.

Develop comprehensive annual marketing plans aligned with sales and organizational objectives.

Oversee the execution of marketing activities throughout the fiscal year to ensure brand visibility and market penetration.

Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Supervise, train, mentor, and guide all sales and marketing team members.

Drive talent development, including training, coaching, and succession planning.

Conduct joint visits with sales personnel to support, assess, and enhance field performance.

Foster a culture of discipline, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Act as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, discipline, strong work ethics, and positive leadership qualities.

Drive team performance to ensure continuous business expansion and market growth.

Prepare and deliver monthly and annual sales reports, market information reports, and market & sales analysis reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sales, business development, or operations management, preferably in a similar industry. With at least 5 years experience in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.

Experience in tender management, commercial negotiation, and technical evaluations is an advantage.

Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in sales forecasting and reporting tools.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
