Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven operations leader to oversee end-to-end drilling, chemical, and sand stimulation operations.
This role requires a strong combination of:
- Deep technical expertise
- Commercial and operational acumen
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring:
- Optimal asset utilization
- High-quality service delivery
- Rigorous financial and margin control
within a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
This role is centered around three core pillars: asset utilization, service delivery excellence, and financial performance discipline.
1. Multi-Service Line Coordination
- Oversee the seamless deployment of equipment, tools, and technical crews across multiple service lines, including drilling, chemical treatments, and sand stimulation
- Ensure efficient coordination and execution across concurrent client operations
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client asset managers and drilling superintendents
- Participate in daily operational briefings
- Align drilling and production schedules with client expectations
- Resolve technical issues and contract deviations in real time
3. P&L Ownership and Budget Management
- Hold full accountability for operational budget and profit & loss (P&L) performance
- Drive initiatives to:
- Maximize asset utilization
- Minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT) and associated financial impact
- Ensure cost efficiency and margin optimization across operations
4. HSE and Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all personnel maintain required certifications (e.g., POP/POM for operational supervisors)
- Proactively mitigate risks related to incidents, oil spills, and equipment damage
Key Requirements & Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong technical foundation and proven leadership capability in complex oil & gas operations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Chemical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Or a related Engineering/Science discipline
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- At least 5 years in leadership, managerial, or field coordination roles
- Prior experience with leading international Oilfield Services (OFS) companies is highly preferred
Technical Expertise
- Proven experience in the application of non-polymer chemical technologies for:
- Drilling operations
- Sand stimulation
- Demonstrated track record in:
- Operational optimization
- Production enhancement
Certifications
- Certified Project Management Professional (Intermediate level) – valid
- Supervising Operations Certification (POM, Intermediate level) – valid
- Additional certifications in:
- Well control
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Chemical operations
