Senior Odoo Functional Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant to lead Electrum's Odoo ecosystem across multiple business domains. In this role, you will own the end-to-end functional architecture of Odoo, drive large-scale process improvements, and guide cross-functional stakeholders in designing scalable workflows that support Electrum's rapid operational growth.

You will serve as the primary functional expert for Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, and People teams: ensuring that Odoo remains robust, efficient, and aligned with Electrum's evolving business needs.

This role is ideal for someone who has led full-cycle Odoo implementations, understands complex business processes, and can translate them into system design with high functional clarity.

• Lead Odoo functional design across multiple modules, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

• Define system architecture, workflows, integration logic, and functional best practices.

• Conduct deep-dive process mapping and redesign initiatives across departments.

• Evaluate module dependencies, customization needs, and system impacts before implementation.

• Lead end-to-end Odoo implementation for new modules or major enhancements.

• Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Oversee configuration, testing, and UAT cycles to ensure smooth deployment.

• Collaborate closely with developers to align technical development with functional requirements.

• Manage release cycles, regression testing, and rollout plans for system updates.

• Act as the functional advisor to Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and People teams.

• Provide strategic recommendations to improve process efficiency through Odoo.

• Manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize requests, and balance short-term needs with long-term system health.

• Support leadership in decision-making through functional insights and data-driven recommendations.

• Establish governance standards for Odoo processes, master data, documentation, and access control.

• Design training programs and onboarding materials for new users or new modules.

• Provide Tier-2 functional support for complex issues escalated by users or system administrators.

• Maintain updated documentation on workflows, SOPs, and configurations.

• Identify automation opportunities and process enhancements across Odoo modules.

• Lead assessments of new Odoo features, version upgrades, and ecosystem improvements.

• Evaluate and implement best practices that improve system performance, data integrity, and user experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, ERP Functional Lead, or Business Systems Analyst.

• Proven experience leading full-cycle Odoo implementations.

• Deep understanding of business processes across Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, or Operations.

• Strong ability to translate complex workflows into functional system design.

• Experience coordinating with developers and understanding technical implications (Python, XML basics preferred).

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down ambiguous problems.

• Experience in EV, manufacturing, supply chain, or mobility industries.

• Familiarity with integration platforms, APIs, or multi-system architecture.

• Knowledge of Odoo Studio, custom workflows, and module extension logic.

• Experience in data migration, master data management, or system governance.
