We're Tribe Designworks a small online design studio based in Vancouver, Canada. We handle everything: websites, brand identity, marketing assets, and product UI /UX when needed.
The team is seven people. The work ships constantly. We're adding a senior designer because we're growing our client roster this year and need a creative generalist who can own work across accounts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own brand and web design for 1-3 clients websites, marketing assets, brand identity systems, campaign assets, sometimes UI/UX.
- Generate production-quality AI visuals using Midjourney, ChatGPT, NanoBanana, Veo3, and similar tools as a regular part of your workflow.
- Build and ship websites in Framer.
- Produce short motion and animation assets, including AI-assisted animation (optional)
- Switch between clients with different brand languages, stakeholders, and paces.
- Record daily Loom walkthroughs that explain your decisions, not just your output.
- Communicate with clients asynchronously through Slack.
WHAT A TYPICAL WEEK LOOKS LIKE
Let's Monday you're wireframing a new landing page for one client and building it in Framer. Wednesday you switch to the second client for a set of social campaign graphics and a brand template update. Thursday you're generating hero visuals in Midjourney and animating a short asset. Friday you're iterating on client feedback. Some weeks lean heavier on web, some on brand, some on AI-generated content. It shifts and that's the point.
YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IF
- You've worked in an agency or studio and know what it's like to juggle multiple clients, contexts, and deadlines at once.
- Web design and brand identity are your core strengths. You can design a landing page, a logo system, and a social template in the same week.
- You already use AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, Veo3, or similar) to generate production-quality visuals not as an experiment, but as part of how you work.
- You're curious about what's next vibe coding, Claude Code, new AI workflows and you explore on your own time because you can't help it.
- You look at a brief and make smart decisions about spacing, hierarchy, type, and layout without needing direction on every detail.
- You're transparent. If something's going wrong, you say so early. You don't disappear.
- You have opinions, bring ideas, and push back when it makes sense.
THIS ROLE PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU IF
- You're primarily a product/UI designer looking for deep UX systems work. This role leans web, brand, and creative.
- You need detailed creative direction for every task. We set priorities and context, you own the execution.
- You haven't used AI tools in real production work. This is a daily part of the role, not a line on a wishlist.

THE DETAILS
Location: Indonesia or GMT+7 timezone
Type: Full-time contract.
Contract: No end date. The relationship continues as long as it works for both sides.
Compensation: IDR 17,000,000 23,000,000 per month.
