We Are Look
ing For
As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work within a technical operations team to ensure the safe and reliable operation of mechanical systems in the data center. You will manage day-to-day operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep cooling and environmental systems running effi
ciently.
Working closely with the wider technical operations team, you will follow approved procedures, support incident response, and help drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and energy ef
ficiency.
Your Job Respons
- ibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain mechanical systems including chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, AHUs, pumps, and associated piping systems in accordance with SOPs, EOPs - , and MOPs.Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company standards, including HSE and applicable mechan
- ical codes.Support the development, review, and implementation of operational procedures for critical mechanical
- equipment.Take a lead in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to improve system reliability and uptime, related with assig
- ned system.Support change management activities, ensuring mechanical changes are properly reviewed, executed,
- and closed.Monitor capacity, performance, and energy efficiency of mechanical systems using BMS/DCIM tools and support optimization i
- nitiatives.Support major maintenance activities such as annual shutdowns, chiller overhauls, cooling system upgrades, and equipment r
- eplacement.Provide technical support to the design for upcoming data centre project and design-solutions, which add capacity, improve availability, and increase
- efficiencyCoordinate with operations teams, vendors, and contractors to resolve mechanical issues and support mainten
- ance works.Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the opera
- tions team.Support cost optimization initiatives and participate in PTW, MOS, and Risk Assessme
- nt reviews.Interface with operation, process, project construction, design solution engineering team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered ope

Qualities You
- Should Have:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical - Engineering.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or operations, preferably within data centers or other critica
- l facilities.Familiar with cooling systems, HVAC equipment, and operational safe
- ty practices.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, BMS, and CMMS/
- DCIM systems.Strong problem-solving and root cause ana
- lysis skills.Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
