Responsibilities:
- Responsible to contribute to product cost savings through identifying opportunities for cost savings & build value engineering project pipeline
- Develop methodologies, templates and approach for target costs based on product analysis data
- Analyze and evaluate design for materials, manufacturing process & supply chain for value analysis / value engineering opportunities
- Execute & drive VAVE projects starting from Idea generation to implementation
- Co-ordinate with Global & local stake holders including suppliers for project execution including samples, prototypes and testing requirements
- Build active VAVE project funnel and build active VAVE project funnel and to drive multiple VAVE projects in a timely manner to support business goal target
- Establish and update processes for execution on teardown, benchmarking and VAVE requests
Requirements:
- Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of studies
- At least 5 years of working experience in the EMS or an MNC environment
- Strong analysis skills, knowledge in material pricing and strategy
- Strong knowledge in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/Electronics commodities
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written)
