Job Description
- Lead strategic consulting engagements for clients across banking, payments, fintech, and financial services sectors.
- Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify business challenges, growth opportunities, and strategic priorities.
- Develop data-driven recommendations and actionable solutions to support business growth, customer acquisition, portfolio optimization, digital transformation, and profitability improvement.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring engagements are completed within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, financial analysis, and business case development to support client recommendations.
- Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and maximize client value.
- Identify and develop new consulting opportunities within existing client portfolios and support business development initiatives.
- Contribute to proposal development, project scoping, commercial discussions, and consulting revenue growth.
- Stay informed on emerging trends within payments, digital banking, fintech, lending, and broader financial services industries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Management Consulting, Financial Services Consulting, Banking Strategy, Corporate Strategy, Payments, Fintech, or related advisory functions.
- Proven track record of leading client-facing consulting engagements and managing multiple stakeholders across complex projects.
- Strong understanding of the banking, payments, cards, fintech, lending, or digital financial services landscape.
- Experience developing strategic recommendations, business cases, growth strategies, and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Experience managing project teams and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially minded with experience supporting business development, account growth, or consulting sales activities.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modelling, and presentation tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strategy Consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman, Kearney, Strategy&, Roland Berger, etc.) with Financial Services, Banking, Payments, or Fintech project exposure.
