Senior Manager / Director - Corporate Finance

A leading global professional services firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager or Director to join its Deals Advisory Corporate Finance practice in Indonesia.

About the Role

This senior leadership position is responsible for advising corporate and financial sponsor clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions, from deal origination through to completion. Working closely with regional leadership and senior client stakeholders, the Director will lead complex transaction mandates, deliver strong commercial outcomes, and provide strategic insight across a diverse range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of buy-side and sell-side corporate finance engagements, serving as a trusted adviser to senior executives and decision-makers.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic client relationships, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong commercial performance.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying and converting opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
• Provide strategic guidance on deal structuring, valuation methodologies, and transaction execution.
• Oversee detailed financial modelling and complex analytical work to inform transaction decisions.
• Lead large, cross-functional project teams to deliver engagements on time and within budget.
• Mentor and develop senior team members, supporting long-term capability and leadership development within the practice.

The Team

This role sits within the firm's Deals Advisory practice and reports to regional leadership. The Director will collaborate closely with partners and senior leaders across advisory and related service lines.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or a related consulting environment, with a demonstrated track record of leading M&A transactions and advising senior stakeholders.

A minimum of 8 years (Senior Manager level) and 12 years (Director level) relevant experience is required, along with strong financial modelling, analytical, and report-writing skills. Experience within a large professional services firm or comparable organisation is highly regarded.

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required, with professional qualifications such as CFA considered advantageous. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to operate effectively in a client-facing advisory capacity.
