Role Description The Senior Management Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya, designed to prepare talent for future leadership positions within Pt Glori Investama Surabaya. This role involves rotating through key departments such as operations, client services, trading support, and compliance to gain a holistic understanding of the futures, forex, and derivatives business. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting senior managers with data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, assisting in process improvements, and participating in strategic and operational meetings. The Senior Management Trainee will also contribute to client education initiatives, help coordinate training sessions, and ensure that activities align with regulatory and internal policy requirements. The role requires proactive learning, collaboration across teams, and consistent performance tracking to accelerate professional development.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and market information.
- Interest in and basic understanding of financial markets, particularly futures, forex, and derivatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in common office and productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, data analysis tools).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, or a related field; fresh graduates or early-career professionals are welcome.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build professional relationships with stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn within a regulated financial environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to structured rotational programs and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Prior internship or experience in brokerage, banking, or financial services is an advantage but not mandatory.
