Role Description The Senior Management Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based at the Surabaya office. This position is designed to prepare individuals for future leadership responsibilities through structured rotations across key business functions such as trading operations, client services, risk management, and business development. Day-to-day tasks include supporting senior managers with data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, participating in strategy discussions, and assisting in the coordination of projects and initiatives. The trainee will engage in market research on futures, forex, and derivatives, help monitor trading activities within established guidelines, and contribute to client communication and educational efforts. The role also involves attending internal training programs, learning regulatory and compliance requirements, and gradually taking ownership of small-scale projects to build managerial competence.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data, market trends, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of or strong interest in capital markets, especially futures, foreign exchange, and derivatives, plus willingness to learn brokerage operations.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, explain complex information, and interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to tasks and projects.
- Ability to work on-site in Surabaya, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to a fast-paced, performance-driven setting.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Accounting, or a related field; fresh graduates or candidates with up to a few years of experience are welcome.
