Gateway Search is proud to partner with one of the leading R&D and manufacturers of automation technology to bring on board a Senior Logistics & Warehouse Officer based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Role Purpose
Manage and optimize end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, and materials planning activities to ensure efficient logistics execution, accurate stock management, and continuous supply availability while minimizing excess inventory and operational costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure accuracy of daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
- Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Liaise with courier / transport providers and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor shipment status, resolve delays or discrepancies, and highlight risk to respective stakeholders.
- Communicate with HQ / Global team to resolve the issue related with logistics such as material issue, shipment issue, etc.
- Maintain warehouse layout to ensure safety, efficiency, and optimum utilization.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability and quality of materials while minimizing excess stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock movement, and stock reconciliation data.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Identify and resolve inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
- Develop and maintain materials planning systems to support operations.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
- Prepare reports on inventory, warehouse performance, and logistics activities.
- Identify and propose improvements in warehouse and logistics processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory planning.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, materials planning, and warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, or SAGE) and strong familiarity with data handling, order entry, and system-driven workflows and Microsoft Office.
- Great understanding of O2C (Order-to-Cash) process.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
