Senior Legal Advisor
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to lead our Corporate & Licensing practice, oversee complex legal matters, and provide technical leadership to the legal team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality legal advisory services, ensuring regulatory compliance, mentoring junior team members, and maintaining the highest standards of legal work.
Key Responsibilities
Handle complex and high-value corporate legal matters, including:
- Foreign Investment Companies (PT PMA)
- Corporate restructuring
- Comprehensive legal due diligence
- Business-to-business (B2B) partnerships
Review and perform quality control on legal work prepared by Legal Advisors and Junior Legal Advisors before escalation to the Assistant Legal Manager.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and career development support to junior legal team members.
- Serve as the technical backup for the Assistant Legal Manager in Corporate & Licensing matters.
- Monitor changes in Indonesian laws and regulations affecting corporate and licensing matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, legal memoranda, and regulatory updates.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on various corporate agreements and commercial contracts.
- Ensure all legal documents comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Support clients by providing practical legal solutions while managing legal risks.

Requirements
Education
- Min. Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, licensing, or legal consultancy.
- Proven experience handling PT PMA establishment, corporate restructuring, and medium-to-high risk business licensing.
- Experience working in a law firm, legal consultancy, or corporate legal department is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing legal documents and supervising junior legal professionals.
Knowledge & Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of Indonesian corporate law and business regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- OSS (Online Single Submission)
- AHU system
- KBLI
- Investment regulations
- Company Law
- Employment Law (preferred)
- Intellectual Property Law
- Experience conducting legal due diligence.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills.
- Excellent legal research and legal writing abilities.
Preferred Certifications
- Advocate License (PERADI) is an advantage.
- Certified Legal Auditor or Corporate Legal certifications are a plus.
- Relevant certifications in corporate governance or compliance are advantageous.
