Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications and microservices
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define technical requirements and solutions
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance our technology stack
- Experience with SpringBoot is a must
- Cloud & DevOps experience with AWS/ Azure/ or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is non-negotiable
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years experience in Java development, with strong expertise in frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Proficient in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, or Microsoft Azure SQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Experience in fintech, banking, or payments industry is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English
