(Senior) IT Engineer - Database & System Administration

Essential Functions:

• Install and configure databases including SAP Hana, PostgreSQL, OceanBase, MySQL, etc.
• Assist with installation and setup of MES, LES, TOM, SPC, and other application systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues; optimize performance.
• Monitor operational status of key application systems.
• Manage backup and recovery processes.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Patch systems and monitor performance.
• Develop database health governance mechanisms.
• Evaluate system resource requirements.
• Work in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise setups.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Automation, or related field.
• 5+ years of database management experience; 3+ years on Linux/Unix/Windows.
• Proficiency in Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, OceanBase, Doris; SAP HANA a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with distributed databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
