Senior IBOR Consultant / Stream Lead

About The Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IBOR Consultant / Stream Lead to support multiple client engagements across the APAC region.

This role combines strong technical and functional IBOR expertise with stakeholder management and client-facing leadership. The successful consultant will not only be expected to understand complex IBOR requirements and provide solution estimates, but also to communicate effectively with clients, lead discussions and act as a trusted senior advisor.

The consultant will work directly with client stakeholders to understand their needs, translate business requirements into potential solutions, prepare effort estimates and guide discussions around scope, approach and delivery.

Communication will be a critical part of this role. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, but equally confident presenting ideas, challenging assumptions, explaining complex topics clearly and managing senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level IBOR technical and functional expertise
• Work directly with clients across multiple APAC engagements
• Lead client meetings, workshops and requirement clarification sessions
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and solution approaches
• Prepare effort estimates, project assessments and solution scoping
• Communicate proposed solutions, assumptions, risks and dependencies clearly to clients
• Manage expectations and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Act as the link between technical/functional teams and business stakeholders
• Independently lead client-facing workstreams
• Present recommendations and explain complex IBOR topics in a clear, business-oriented way
• Collaborate with internal technical and functional teams where required
  
  

Key Requirements

• Strong senior-level IBOR / Investment Book of Record expertise
• SimCorp Dimension experience highly preferred and usually expected
• Strong combination of technical/functional knowledge and stakeholder management
• Proven experience in a client-facing consulting environment
• Ability to independently manage and lead senior client stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex technical/functional topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong experience with estimations, scoping and solution assessment
• Confidence leading workshops and challenging or clarifying client requirements
• Strong investment-management / asset-management background
• Ability to work across multiple client engagements
• Availability to cover APAC business hours
