The Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can own business-critical systems end-to-end and guide technical direction across CRM, mobile, backend services, and event-driven workflows.
You will help evolve our CRM, field-team mobile app, Node.js services, Postgres data model, and backend workflows so internal teams can operate with speed and confidence.
You will partner closely with product, design, ops, and platform teams to turn complex operational workflows into reliable software that scales with the business.
What You Will Do
- Lead architecture and delivery for cross-system features spanning CRM, mobile, Node.js backend services, Postgres, and platform integrations
- Design and build Node.js services, workers, APIs, and internal integrations for performance-sensitive workflows
- Set technical direction for TanStack, Drizzle/Postgres, Expo, and shared engineering patterns
- Clarify ambiguous requirements, document assumptions, and reason from merchant, ops, sales, and field-team workflows
- Make pragmatic tradeoffs across product speed, reliability, maintainability, and system complexity
- Improve observability, incident response, performance, and production debugging practices
- Review designs and pull requests with a focus on correctness, security, scalability, and maintainability
- Partner with product, design, QA, platform, and operations to close loops beyond code completion
- Support engineers through thoughtful feedback, code review, and shared technical context
- Use AI tools with judgment and create reusable patterns that reduce repeated work
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of software development experience with strong full-stack ownership
- Strong production Node.js backend experience with services, workers, APIs, and platform components
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern React, and production frontend architecture
- Deep experience with Postgres schema design, indexing, query performance, and safe migrations
- Experience designing APIs, auth/RBAC, background jobs, and integration boundaries
- Strong system design skills across reliability, failure modes, observability, and cross-service impact
- Experience owning production systems, debugging incidents, and improving operational maturity
- Strong product and business judgment, including clarifying ambiguous scope and making pragmatic tradeoffs
- Clear communication in design notes, PRs, investigations, and status updates
- Comfort working in a large codebase and improving architecture incrementally while continuing to ship
- Track record raising team standards through thoughtful reviews, steady ownership, and practical mentoring
Good to Have
- Experience with the TanStack ecosystem (Router, Query, Form, Start)
- Experience with Drizzle ORM and Zod for end-to-end type safety
- Experience with Go for backend services, workers, or backend platform components
- Experience operating Kafka in production or working with managed streaming platforms
- Experience with React Native or Expo for production mobile apps
- Exposure to AWS, CI/CD, secrets management, and infrastructure-as-code workflows
- Experience integrating LLM/AI features into operational products
- Experience in fintech, retail-tech, logistics, or other operations-heavy domains
