What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality frontend experiences across our product.
• Own significant areas of the frontend architecture and help establish patterns and engineering standards as the product scales.
• Build intuitive interfaces for configuring integrations, managing connected accounts, exploring capabilities, and building workflows.
• Work on experiences that allow users and AI agents to interact with external applications and business systems.
• Build interfaces for complex concepts such as integration graphs, workflows, tool discovery, permissions, execution state, and data relationships.
• Develop frontend experiences around AI-powered workflows and agent interactions, including streaming responses, tool execution, intermediate states, errors, and human-in-the-loop interactions.
• Build reusable component systems and frontend abstractions that allow the team to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Solve challenging problems around frontend performance, state management, data fetching, caching, and real-time updates.
• Work closely with backend engineers and product designers to turn ambiguous problems into simple, reliable user experiences.
• Own features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Review code, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the evolution of our frontend engineering practices.

What we're looking for

• Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience building production frontend applications.
• Have deep hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Have a strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, including component design, state management, data fetching, rendering, and application structure.
• Have experience building and maintaining large, complex frontend applications.
• Care deeply about performance and understand concepts such as rendering, browser internals, network performance, caching, code splitting, and bundle optimisation.
• Have strong fundamentals in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, browser APIs, HTTP, and web performance.
• Have experience designing reusable component systems and frontend abstractions that work across a growing product.
• Are comfortable working with backend APIs and understand REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, SSE, and asynchronous data flows.
• Have strong product instincts and can turn complex technical concepts into simple user experiences.
• Are comfortable working in ambiguous environments and can independently take ownership of large problems.
• Have strong debugging skills and are comfortable investigating issues across the browser, frontend application, APIs, and backend services.
• Care about code quality, maintainability, testing, and long-term engineering velocity.
• Enjoy mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar for the team.
