Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer who thrives on autonomy and technical ownership. In this role, you will act as the primary lead for web infrastructure, responsible for bridging the gap between sophisticated UI development and robust cloud deployment.

You will independently manage the Sanity CMS architecture and AWS ecosystem, ensuring that staging and production environments are seamless, secure, and scalable.

Infrastructure Ownership

• Architect and manage the deployment pipeline, ensuring code moves safely from GitHub to AWS staging and production environments.

CMS Architecture

• Design and maintain complex content models and schemas in Sanity.io that empower content creators while maintaining technical integrity.

Deployment Governance

• Act as the final gatekeeper for production releases by applying CI/CD best practices to minimize risk and maximize system uptime.

Process Optimization

• Identify bottlenecks in GitHub workflows or AWS configurations and implement automation or improvements to streamline the process.

Technical Leadership

• Work with minimal supervision to resolve high-priority bugs and architectural challenges while making key decisions related to front-end performance, scalability, and technical debt.
  

Expert Front-End Development

• Extensive experience with modern front-end stacks, preferably React.js and Next.js, building high-performance and accessible user interfaces.

CMS Engineering

• Strong expertise in Sanity CMS, including GROQ queries, Studio customization, and API integrations for large-scale applications.

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience managing AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, Route 53, or Amplify. Ability to configure environments from scratch is required.

Advanced Version Control

• Advanced proficiency in GitHub, including managing branch strategies (e.g., GitFlow), GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and secure secret management.

Autonomy & Ownership

• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects independently, from initial setup to production deployment.
