Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Finance Manager to lead our accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, reviewing team performance, handling cash flow management, and resolving queries by coordinating with counterparties in Ghana, Ivory Coast (IVC), and the UK. The key focus of this role is ensuring task completion and accountability within the team.

Key Responsibilities :

Team & Process Management

• Lead and oversee the finance team to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.
• Review and validate the work of junior accountants to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, implementing best practices in financial operations.

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Maintain and oversee cash flow management and fund allocation to ensure financial stability.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements, inter-company accounts, and ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring proper controls.

Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance

• Resolve financial queries by directly coordinating with counterparties in Ghana, IVC, and the UK.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company financial policies.
• Collaborate with auditors and compliance teams for timely submissions and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA dropouts are preferred.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cash flow management, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with international counterparts.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Leadership and team management skills to drive performance and accountability.
